Belfast’s Running Out the Clock return with their exhilarating new single ‘Without U’, delivering a vibrant combination of infectious indie-pop melodies, energetic guitar arrangements and anthemic songwriting.
Following their 2025 releases ‘Why Wait For Love?’ and ‘No Parking’, the Northern Irish quartet’s third single captures the youthful spontaneity and collaborative spirit that have become central to their emerging musical identity.
Driven by punchy percussion, shimmering synthesisers and bright guitar riffs, ‘Without U’ builds towards an explosive finale, creating an irresistible atmosphere that reflects the band’s growing reputation for energetic live performances.
Remarkably, the song originated from two compositions written by the band’s vocalist at just thirteen years old, combining the emotional aftermath of a broken friendship with playful, imaginative lyricism.
With ‘Without U’, the quartet deliver another confident step forward, bringing together heartfelt storytelling, irresistible hooks and the unmistakable excitement of a young band discovering its potential.
