Fresh from their debut release, rising alt-rock trio Muralheart are back with ‘Hey I’, a high-energy new single that draws inspiration from the guitar-driven sounds of the 90s.
Combining distorted riffs, driving drums and infectious choruses, the track takes influence from The Smashing Pumpkins and The Stone Roses, alongside the raw vocal delivery associated with the grunge movement.
Recorded and produced entirely in the band’s bedroom studio, ‘Hey I’ addresses the frustrations of everyday working life and the importance of finding time to enjoy the present.
The release follows their debut single ‘Sentimental (One Again)’, which introduced the group’s alternative-rock sound.
With two singles now released, the band are continuing work on their debut album, currently planned for release in 2027.
