Following the release of ‘Higher’ earlier this summer, UK artist In Silo has unveiled his new EP DEATH MOON II, a five-track collection that marks an important creative milestone. Entirely self-produced, the record showcases a refined blend of synth-pop, indie and electronic influences while signalling a confident new direction for the project.
Opening with the energetic ‘Wanted More’, the EP moves through shimmering synth textures and atmospheric songwriting before arriving at the previously released ‘Higher’, one of the collection’s defining moments. Across its five tracks, DEATH MOON II balances nostalgic electronic sounds with contemporary production, gradually unfolding into darker, more cinematic territory.
Originally created without any intention of release, the songs emerged during a period of creative experimentation that encouraged In Silo to rediscover the enjoyment of making music without expectation. As the project developed, it evolved into a personal reflection on change, self-acceptance and moving beyond former versions of himself.
Following previous support from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and Absolute Radio, DEATH MOON II marks In Silo’s return after an extended break, presenting his most fully realised work to date.
