From the opening surge of ‘Are You Compliant?’, Remit make it clear they’re not here for half measures. Their debut album ‘Questions Unanswered’ feels like a sustained confrontation- part protest, part lament, part existential howl. Built on a collision of jagged guitars, cavernous bass, and drums that feel more likeContinue Reading
Swedish pop artist Diana Pilquist returns with ‘at some point in time…’, a bold and heartfelt follow-up to her debut EP ‘Disco Daydream’. Bringing back her disco-pop shimmer and emotionally raw storytelling, Diana’s new EP explores the highs and heartbreaks of growing up, wrapped in nostalgic synths and introspective lyricism. The standoutContinue Reading
The Fades have never been a band to whisper, and with ‘This Scene is Over’, they’re absolutely shouting from the rooftops- not for attention, but because the walls are caving in. This is a track steeped in the frustration and grit of a band that’s spent years in the trenches,Continue Reading
Make Believe Love’s latest single ‘Delay Deny Depose’ doesn’t just slap you with a hook- it slips a knife of satire between the ribs of late-stage capitalism. The brainchild of Los Angeles artist Lucas Berman, the track folds lo-fi synths, twang-laced guitars, and razor-edged wit into a politically charged anthemContinue Reading

Ten years is a long time to leave a story unfinished- but ‘Rêverie’, The Young Liars’ first release since 2015’s ‘Rue Massena’, feels less like a comeback and more like a resurfacing. The Jakarta indie rock quartet haven’t returned to chase past glories; they’ve returned to inhabit a different tempoContinue Reading
Silk Daisys’ new single ‘It’s A Laugh’ is the kind of bittersweet earworm that hides a bruise beneath a smile. The Atlanta-based dream-pop/post-punk duo- made up of James Abercrombie and Karla Jean Davis- wrap jangling 12-string guitar lines, handclaps, and irresistible hooks around the well-worn “sad clown” archetype, creating somethingContinue Reading
For years in Nashville, Wes Kirkpatrick lived in the shadow of sad songs. Heartbreak and melancholy seeped into everything he wrote- not out of choice, but because it was all that seemed to surface. Eventually, the weight of it all drove him back to the Colorado mountains, searching for space,Continue Reading
In a musical climate where pop often hides in the underground shadows, Dark City Kings refuse to play it cool- instead, they embrace it, magnify it, and send it spinning into the night like a glittering flare.
