Lost Velvet have released their latest single “Dark Cells,” distributed exclusively by Forbury Lion, as the duo prepare to launch their debut album.
The song features a layered alt-rock arrangement led by Robert Butcher and Melissa Morris, whose joint vocals move through expansive guitar-driven production. Mixing by Michael Patterson and mastering by Maor Appelbaum add a polished finish to the immersive track.
Described by the band as their most intense release yet, “Dark Cells” highlights a shift toward a heavier sonic identity while retaining the atmospheric qualities that define their sound.
The debut album, currently being completed, is expected later in 2026.
