Owen Gillham launches I AM HANDS with debut album supporting CALM

UK-based musician and producer Owen Gillham has introduced I AM HANDS, a new project that arrives alongside a self-titled debut album and a commitment to supporting mental health charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). All proceeds from album sales will be donated to the organisation.

The record brings together material developed over a ten-year period, spanning influences from neo-folk and ambient electronica to more cinematic and instrumental compositions. While stylistically varied, the album is united by a sense of emotional depth and reflection.

The project was shaped by a period of profound personal loss following the deaths of Gillham’s father and his close friend and musical collaborator, James McCully. Returning to unfinished recordings and sketches they had created together became an important part of the creative process, allowing Gillham to complete work that might otherwise have remained unheard.

I AM HANDS will be available via Bandcamp, CD and vinyl formats.
