Broken Colours make an exhilarating return with ‘Now or Never’, a huge, feel-good indie-rock anthem fuelled by ambition, optimism and the thrill of throwing yourself headfirst into an opportunity.
The High Wycombe four-piece waste little time making an impact. Bright guitars and an infectious rhythmic drive give the track an immediate sense of movement, while charismatic frontman Tony Goff leads proceedings towards a glorious finale where surging brass sends the final chorus spectacularly skyward.
Even better, the story behind the single embodies everything it celebrates. Goff and bandmate Umar originally developed ‘Now or Never’ in their own small studio before taking a considerable leap and flying to America to record it. That journey ultimately became a perfect reflection of the song’s message: dream bigger, take the risk and see where it leads.
