2ŁØT taps Paul Oakenfold for stellar “Entropy” remix

Marking a bold new chapter for genre-bending collective 2ŁØT, they unveil the “Entropy (Paul Oakenfold Remix),” a pulse-pounding reinterpretation of their debut album’s emotional finale. Reimagined by none other than global dance music pioneer Paul Oakenfold, the remix launches 2ŁØT’s sound into dancefloor orbit—elevating their signature fusion of soul, rock, and electronic music with cinematic builds, euphoric drops, and Rudy Love Jr.’s unmistakably stirring vocals.

The original “Entropy” served as the closing statement of 2ŁØT’s debut album of the same name, released late last year. Rooted in themes of grief, survival, and creative renewal, the record drew its name from the second law of thermodynamics—a metaphor for the chaos of life and a rallying cry to rise above it. With this remix, that defiant energy takes on a new form, extending 2ŁØT’s genre-blurring vision into the world of electronic dance music.

“This remix means a lot to us,” the band shared. “Oakenfold’s version of ‘Entropy’ keeps the spirit of the original but flips it into something that hits in a totally different way. It feels like a celebration—of pushing through, of staying in the fight.”
