West End performer and classical crossover artist Shimi Goodman marks his return with ‘Adagio’.
The London-based singer, originally from Tel Aviv, brings together orchestral grandeur and contemporary production on a recording that blends soaring tenor vocals with rich arrangements and subtle electronic textures. Featuring performances from members of the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, the track was produced by George Guerrette, orchestrated by Shay Alon, and mixed by Grammy Award-winning engineer Justin Gray, with the final release also available in immersive Dolby Atmos.
For Goodman, the song represents the culmination of an idea that had been developing for years, with the artist aiming to create something deeply personal while paying tribute to the material that inspired it.
