Jerry Jean reflects on a decade of growth with new album ‘For You, For Always’

Jerry Jean returns with For You, For Always, an accomplished new album that brings together ten years of songwriting into a thoughtful and deeply personal collection. The New York-based Taiwanese-American artist continues to blend soul, classic pop and heartfelt lyricism, creating a record that feels both intimate and carefully considered.

Spanning eleven tracks, the album balances uplifting moments with quieter reflections, moving comfortably between the rhythmic optimism of ‘Keep Breathing’ and ‘Lean In’ and the understated emotional weight of songs such as ‘September Sky’ and current single ‘A Home Here’. Collaborations with Nicole Zuraitis, Chloé Hogan and Elia Esparza further enrich the record, adding subtle new dimensions without overshadowing Jean’s distinctive songwriting voice.

Designed as a companion to his 2017 release Do We Reach Home, the album shifts its perspective from searching for direction to appreciating where life has ultimately led. Inspired by the years spent raising a family, F’or You, For Always’ explores themes of belonging, acceptance and the quiet fulfilment found in everyday moments.

Having built an impressive career through performances at renowned venues and collaborations with acclaimed artists, Jerry Jean continues to place authenticity above spectacle. For You, For Always is a mature and cohesive body of work that rewards careful listening, offering a sincere reflection on family, creativity and the passage of time.
