Maribelle explores healing and connection on new album ‘A New Spring’

Norwegian singer-songwriter Maribelle has released A New Spring, a new album that reflects on themes of healing, belonging and emotional resilience through a carefully crafted blend of art-pop and ambient influences.

Available now, the record presents a collection of songs designed to offer a sense of calm and reflection in an increasingly fast-moving world. Across its runtime, Maribelle combines atmospheric production, layered vocals and subtle global influences to create a sound that feels both intimate and expansive.

The album moves through a variety of moods and textures. Tracks such as ‘What You Came Here For’ lean into dreamlike electronics and acoustic elements, while ‘Hope’ introduces understated rhythmic movement beneath its immersive arrangements. Elsewhere, ‘Kyrye’ builds around sweeping orchestration and expressive vocal performances, highlighting the project’s more cinematic side.

Speaking about the release, Maribelle describes the album as an attempt to create music that feels supportive and uplifting, drawing on personal experiences and translating them into songs that encourage reflection and presence.

Having spent the past fifteen years performing across Norway and internationally, including recent appearances in Japan, Maribelle continues to refine a distinctive artistic voice rooted in emotion and atmosphere.
