Paddy Smith releases new blues-rock album ‘Could Have Found Grace’

Irish blues stalwart Paddy Smith returns with his long-awaited new album ‘Could Have Found Grace’, a raw, unfiltered dive into stories of survival, spirit, and sonic fire. A pillar of Ireland’s roots scene, Smith has spent decades channeling the grit of classic blues and rock into something distinctly his own.

Created in collaboration with guitarist Danny Tobin over three intense days, the album captures an instinctive and organic chemistry. “We trusted the songs to lead us,” Smith shares. The result: eight unflinching tracks steeped in truth and tradition.

Backed by a powerhouse lineup featuring Aongus Ralston (The Waterboys), Jason Duffy (The Corrs), James Delaney (Van Morrison), and Tobin himself and produced by Ivan Jackman at Hellfire Studios, ‘Could Have Found Grace’ is a defiant reminder that Irish blues still burns hot and true.
