Bowden tap into emotional urgency on new single “Faster” ahead of debut album Glacier

Following the success of their recent single Be Your Own God, Cork-based five-piece Bowden return with “Faster”, a raw, emotionally charged track that lands May 2nd, serving as the final preview before the band’s long-awaited debut album Glacier, out May 23rd.

With its tense rhythm and restrained intensity, Faster captures the moment before everything unravels, the tipping point between endurance and eruption. “It’s about chasing a resolution,” the band shares. “Not knowing whether it’s salvation or collapse. That uncertainty is at the heart of it.”

Unlike the layered textures of earlier singles, Faster strips things back, letting vulnerability take centre stage. The result is a song that spirals and stings, equal parts tension and release, like a breath you didn’t realise you were holding.

It’s Bowden at their most urgent and unfiltered, a striking signal of what’s to come on Glacier.
